"He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed."
Psalm 107:29
WELCOME:
Weather the Storms LLC was designed with the goal of lifting others, starting with my friend Lisa Olson. Read my blog post "A Valuable, Lifelong Friendship" about our friendship and how it inspired me to write the new children's book, "Glory Be!" A portion of the proceeds from book and merchandise sales will be donated to Little Limbs, Big Purpose and Manyata Ministries to support the caregiving expenses and ministry mission started by my childhood friend. You can also donate directly to Lisa by clicking the link below.
About Me:
In recent years, (let's just say...after a special birthday) I had been working on self-improvement, working out, eating better, self-help books, applying for new jobs and taking on new responsibilities in my community. Every item I checked off my to-do list was replaced with 10 more, but I was still lacking a sense of fulfillment.

On January 10, 2020, I had a vision. Much more vivid than a mere dream, and with a clear message, I knew it was different the moment I woke up. The self-help books I was reading were not the answer, something else was. I began to incorporate faith in leadership. My purpose is to be a source of positive, yet practical, inspiration for leaders of families, communities, workplaces. I began to put my faith and my purpose at the forefront of everything I did.
In 2022, after twenty-two years in the legal services industry, I left my career in pursuit of more creative endeavors
and started Weather the Storms LLC. Weather the Storms LLC began as a professional services company that
sought to take business workflow analysis to the next level by not only developing action plans in collaboration
with clients, but by completing them. It is helpful, but not sufficient, to merely analyze the current state of
business operations. I wanted to be the consultant who would take the steps needed to move projects from
the "back-burner" to the "cooling rack", by bringing plans to fruition.

In addition to creating and marketing my new business, I found that I had time to tend to family and friend relationships that had taken a back seat to my career. The more I poured into these relationships, the more I received in return. As I move forward into new work roles and responsibilities, I plan to be intentional about giving my time and attention to those I love and to those, still unknown, whose paths will cross mine in the future.
